Robert Diggs, een voormalig FBI-agent die nu als detective werkt, krijgt te maken met een onbekende die terroristen vermoordt in Sofia, Bulgarije. Het betreft terroristen die op Amerika's lijst van meeste gezochte personen staan. Tijdens zijn zoektocht naar de moordenaar komt hij in aanraking met de sexy, roodharige buikdanseres Ursula. Dankzij haar kan hij voor het eerst omgaan met de pijnlijke herinnering aan de tragische dood van zijn vrouw.
For the thickheaded thriller “Assassin’s Bullet” the Bulgarian actress Elika Portnoy dreamed up a story with three roles for herself and fails to convince in any of them. Limiting her thespian efforts to wig and wardrobe changes — and adding or subtracting eyeliner — Ms. Portnoy embodies a hackneyed plot device unlikely to fool the average toddler. While the director, Isaac Florentine, busies himself with portentous shots of building facades, his actors navigate this silliness as best they can. Mr. Slater valiantly tries to appear turned on by his leading lady’s shimmying midsection, but he might as well be watching a performing dog for all the heat mustered between them.
